Vashi: Golden Hits, a conceptual musical presentation of old melodies, has come a long way since its inception almost five years down the line. It has witnessed many ups and downs during this tedious and breathtaking journey to provide the old music buffs from city jurisdiction and beyond their dose of entertainment in accordance with ever increasing demand for inclusion of select numbers.
Anmol Entertainment which is the brain behind these musical concerts of Golden Hits is all geared up to commemorate its 50th show on February 5, Saturday, timings being from 8.30pm. The mega musical show of celebrating Golden Jubilee of Golden Hits will have who’s who from difference spheres of life which is devised to pay obeisance to music maestros that have given the Indian film industry their best shot to reckon with.
“This is a much-sought after musical nite in Navi Mumbai which will have songs of almost all great musicians that have chipped in immensely to the Indian cinema which we sing to unleash our pain and agony. This will be a memorable moment in the history of Golden Hits under Anmol Entertainment. We will try and provide the bests to our humble music lovers at the Golden Jubilee show,” said Navi Mumbai’s own singer and music director, Ajit Mestry, the architect of this musical initiative.
The show will stage evergreen compositions of legendary music directors like Naushad, S D Burman, Shankar-Jaikishan, Roshan, Laxmikant Pyarelal, Madan Mohan, R D Burman, Kalyanji-Anandji, O P Nayyar and C Ramchandran. The singers that will imitate the great personalities with their soothing voice include Rana Chatterjee, Sandeep Shah, Anand Bahal, Sangeeta Malekar, Sampada Goswami, Debu Mukherjee, Narendra Bhansali and Ajit Mestry. Sandeep Kokil will look after the campering part.
