NAVI MUMBAI SANMAN FESTIVAL, AIROLI FROM 05th FEBRUARY 2012 AT AIROLI, CELEBRITIES LINED UP FOR THE SHOW
Film stars Sonu Sood, Vindu Dara Singh, Nishigandha Wad, Mukesh Rishi, Pankaj Dheer among others are roped in to entertain the crowd at the much-awaited 8 days long Navi Mumbai Sanman Festival, scheduled to be held at Chinchwali Ground, Sector - 05, Airoli, Navi Mumbai from 05th February 2012 at 05.00 P.M. onwards till 10.00 P. M.. The show will continue till 12th February 2012 from 07.00 P. M. to 10.00 P. M.
For the 2nd Edition, City-based Socio-Cultural Organization Sanman Pratisthan, Airoli is bringing these celebrities to this part of the town to treat an expected crowd of over one lakh at a stretch of eight days. The festival will take off on 05th February 2012 at the hands of local MLA Shri Sandeep Naik in the presence of dignitaries from various spheres of life. Entering into second year the show is getting bigger and better.
“We have meticulously planned something or the other for everyone cutting across caste affiliations to showcase their talents and skills. Stalls will have traditional food stuffs of Agri-Koli community among other ethnic groups. Everything is offered under one roof. There will be entertainment, sports, cultural activities, felicitations, talk show, dance, drama, singing, laughter challenge,” said Shri G S Patil, Chief Organizer of the festival and president of Sanman Pratisthan, Airoli.
The day one will have grand parade and lezim by School Children of Airoli node besides being Punjab’s much acclaimed “Bhangra and Giddha” dance forms followed by Sikh martial arts (Gatka) demonstration. Satyapal Maharaj of Akola will guide the audience on the day two. The day three will witness group folk dance competition amongst various schools.
