Navi Mumbai (Dt: 18)- Rotary club of Navi mumbai had organised a spectacular Musical
Extravaganza on saturday 15th September, at vishnudas bhave Auditorium,
Vashi. The Theme for the 160th show of Klub Nostalgia was the songs of
the super stars of yesteryears Shammi kapoor and Dev anand.
A packed to capacity audience were enthralled by the
outstanding performances of singers---Anil Bajpai, Shailaja, Sandeep and
Vrushali. The musical team led by Ajay Madan, gave a scintillating
performance. The Musical prog was interspersed with Humour by the
Anchor, Rtn Premkumar, who is also the President of the club.
Speaking on the occasion,the President of the club
mentioned that the Fund Raising prog was to meet the expenses of a
Revolutionary Educational project which would have a major impact in the
community in Navi mumbai, as over 3000 students are likely to benefit
from the computer literacy programme. The fund raising comitte for the
Mega project of Rotary Club of Navi Mumbai was spearheaded by Rotarian
Anand Natrajan and his team of Rotarian Amar Nair, Rotarian Laxmi,
Rotarian Surekha Mathre and Rotarian Kanchan Todi Roy.
Another unique feature if the show was on-the-spot dedication of songs which brought in good donations for a noble cause.
Klub
Nostalgia which believes in spreading Happiness through Music, also
donate all their proceeds to Charity. Music lovers were in a state of
frenzied delight , as they clapped, sang, and danced to the lilting
melodies. The experience proves beyond doubt that Music is the best anti
dote for a hectic, stressful living. In short it was an awesome Musical
treat.
